CompTIA Cloud+ (CV0-004)

WEBVTT (Music) That is right. And we are here to discuss, of course, the cloud plus that we have just completed for you here at ACI Learning. This is the 004 edition of the exam. You know, Lauren, it's no surprise that we're already on a fourth edition of cloud plus, and that's because one of the things about cloud technologies is they are moving so rapidly today. So sure enough, the certifications associated with cloud, they have to revise frequently as well. So this is, once again, cloud plus for the 004 edition of that cert. Well, this is gonna be an exciting course to follow along with, and we're gonna be having a bunch of people on screen who are gonna be helping to walk you through cloud plus. Now, who would be the ideal audience to be watching this course with us? Yeah, that's a great question. So ideally, you have A plus or equivalent knowledge under your belt. So you're good with basic networking. You understand basic computer communication topics, and now you're ready to start learning about cloud technologies. So I would definitely say someone that possesses that A plus level of knowledge or equivalent. You don't really have to go out and get your A plus certification as long as you have the knowledge. We're going to be covering a bunch of different cloud kind of platforms. And don't worry, you're gonna have Sophia, who is another host and myself, being your learner advocate, asking all the questions that you might have as well. Now, Anthony, we're gonna be jumping into a lot of cloud plus topics. What are some of the things that we're gonna be covering? Yeah, it would be very, very inappropriate for us to have a cloud course and not dig into topics like security, right? Security is one of those things that will either drive someone to the cloud because they understand their security posture can really improve, or unfortunately, some are afraid to go to the cloud because they're fearful that it would be an insecure environment. We will focus on security for a big part of this course to ensure that your cloud actually improves your use of security along with technology. Something else that we'll focus on in our cloud plus course is the fundamentals. I don't want you to think that we're going to skip the fundamental concepts of like, what does cloud really mean? And how can cloud be implemented? As Lauren alluded to, we'll be doing demonstrations throughout our cloud plus, and we won't bias ourselves to one of the cloud vendors. You're gonna see demonstrations in Azure, in AWS, and even in Google Cloud Platform. So we will be giving you plenty of variety through our demonstrations. I'm excited to be learning alongside of you and our other experts and diving into all of the different cloud (Music)
