GNS three has been a lab simulation
tool very popular among Cisco
certification seekers for
a very long time.
It allows us to be able to build up lab
topology is that we see on the internet or
that we read about in books and
be able to run those apologies and
allow us to see how things work.
Now the product itself has actually grown
beyond the realm of Cisco today allows
us to not only be able to use
what Cisco types of images, but
allows us to also reach out and go beyond
that in terms of different equipments.
So there's actually different vendors that
allow you to use images in them as well.
That means that you can build up different
apologies to help you test things on your
network.
Now in this short series that we're about
to start here on GNS three essentials,
we're showing you exactly
that the essentials.
What we mean by that is we wanna make
sure that how to get GNS three and how to
install it on your systems regardless of
whether you're actually running Windows or
Mac or Lennox or even running on our
remote server, so that multiple people can
access it at the same time,
we're going to show you how to do that.
The other things that we'll also talk
about is how to make sure that expands
the functionality that you need to by
adding in different types of images so
that you can pull those into a topology
that you can create inside of
GNS three as well.
And then ultimately we want to show
you some of the different options that
you have available and
what you have to work with two.
Now, this is not a super advanced series.
It's designed for the person that just
says, hey, I need to get it up and
running so I can see what it's like.
Or I can begin to build
different apologies with and
if that's what you want to do well,
this is the perfect show for you.
So stay tuned right here as we
start our GNS three essential show.
Thank you for watching ITProTV.
